What To Expect
When you come in for your personalized consultation, you will be asked to complete a short questionnaire so we understand specific areas of concern you may have. We will review and discuss your answers with you before proceeding with a thorough assessment of your aesthetic needs. Together we will create a treatment plan tailored specifically for you. Please understand that multiple treatments may be necessary to achieve your desired result.
Prior to your initial SculpSure treatment, you should avoid direct sun exposure or tanning beds for 7 days, and if you have excessive or thick hair in the area to be treated, we also recommend shaving or waxing prior to your appointment. On the day of your treatment, make sure you are well-hydrated and consider having a light snack an hour or two before your scheduled appointment.
First, care is taken to ensure you are positioned comfortably. Then the guides are placed over the target areas and the SculpSure applicators are inserted into the guides. Throughout the treatment session, you will experience waves of moderate heat with short bursts of cooling. You may elect to have multiple areas treated during each session or return to have the same or additional areas treated during subsequent sessions.
After your SculpSure treatment, you may immediately resume your normal daily activities. Many patients start to see preliminary results in as little as six weeks, but it may take up to 12 weeks, or multiple sessions, to reach your optimal result.
